I have a great passion for what some historians call the "American Story." It is not just the story of the big players or political movements, but it is your family, and mine as well. That, is American History!!!! I am currently in my last semester of coursework of the MA program.... and YAY! I will graduate in December of 2010. I plan to to pursue Ph.D. work in the Fall of 2011 with a general focus on American History, the 20th Century, and the African American woman's expereince. I plan to concentrate my doctoral dissertation on African American architects and business men in Southern California.
