The purpose of the Character Presentations is to help you study main points in the text, and in this way you will be helping each other. For your Character Presentations, Please do the following:

1-Choose a character from the assigned chapter. First of all, locate them in time and space--when and where they lived, and then tell us his/ her overall significance--why they are mentioned in the text--without telling us his/her name

2-Give us a sampling of his/her words or describe his/her significant work (the reason he/she is in the text)

3-Conclude with your opinion of his/her significance

4-Turn in an outline of your character presentation after you have completed it

5-Your Characterization should be about 5 minutes (no more) - and the idea is to stump the class

6-You can look up more info on these Characters, but again, avoid Wiki and use educational sites. You might look up his/ her writing, if they have written a book, for example. Be sure to cite all sources brought to your presentation.
