Testimonios:

Testimonios/ Introduction: What does the collection of these interviews--the "story behind the story" so-to-speak, tell us about the writing of California's history?

For each of the following women, you should know: 1) their birth dates (approximate); 2)which part(s) of California they spent most of their time; 3)who collected their story and the circumstances of the interview (especially where significant); 4) and most important, what the overall significance of their story is for our understanding of California--what do their stories reveal about Spanish and/ or Mexican California and why?
